Clear view is a rotating pane, manufactured from seawater resistant aluminium. The front section rotates at a high speed, slinging the external rain and sea water away from the pane, offering a clear view in all weather conditions. The pane is also equipped with a heating element, which ensures that the window pane remains condensation free at all times. The heating element also contributes to preventing the mechanism from freezing if the temperature drops below 0ºC.
For vessels sailing in very cold locations, the pane can be delivered with a tubular heating element of 150 watt.
Control Panels are available as optional equipment, either as an assembled box ready to be mounted on a wall or as a front panel for insertion into a wall or control desk.
The pane is available with the following voltages, 12 volt, 24 volt, 32 volt, 110 volt and 220 volt AC/DC, all with or without heating. Each Clear view screen includes detailed installation instructions as well as a drill template and mounting tool.
To ensure that the Clearview screen is gas tight, we offer a 'Gas Cap' as an optional item.
